I don't know about you but I find myself I stressing out with finding time for everything. With the store, blog, and trying to build up a decor business it feels like I am drowning myself.
On top of that I do have a family and all. Which over all THAT is my very first priority and love. I don't work my family time around these things I love doing. My things I love to do are worked around my family. Nap time is the only time I have to do what needs to be done. If there is something to be researched or a blog post to be written then nap time is the time to do it. If it's something fun like painting, taking photos, or even decorating then I find myself including them. In fact I think I gave them the decorating bug. I find them constantly decorating their own rooms.
Something that makes me feel crappy is if I spend hours upon hours that focuses on me having to sit down. At a computer etc. A lot of what I do focuses on being on a computer. So instead of sitting down and working for hours at a time on everything I will set aside specific days for each thing. Instead of spending 5 hours on the computer a day I spend two hours with a 5 minute break minimum every 20 minutes. Health is becoming a big thing with me and that includes minimal TV and Internet time! Also cutting out Internet and TV time means way more time with the kids.
Here is how my weekly schedule looks
Monday- blog day
Tuesday- decor day
Friday- decor day
Saturday and Sunday- no internet all day but Saturday is a store day with things that do not involve the internet. And things that I can do with my kids. One of our favorite things to do together is paint so it works out to do a whole bunch of paintings. And it's more of a casual day. It isn't strict enough to where I feel I have to stay home and paint. It's more of a if I am home and I feel like painting then I paint. If not then that is fine too.
Sunday is a completely off day.
If your someone who has different things going on how do you manage it all?
